See what your visitors do in the store

Not every visit ends the same way. Razbin shows quick exits, browsers, fitting room visitors and purchasers separately. You also see fitting room usage, dwell time and the busiest areas of your store.

Visitor segments

How does each visit end?

Razbin reports four segments based on how visitors move through the store. You see each one separately, as a count and as a share of all visitors.

Quick exit

Visitors who walk in and leave shortly after. A clue to the first impression your entrance and window make.

Browsed, no purchase

Visitors who spend time in the store and leave without reaching the checkout. A possible sign of a product, price or service gap.

Fitting room

Visitors who go to the fitting rooms. Shows the hours when people most want to try things on.

Purchased

Visitors who reach the checkout. Shows what share of visits end there.

You can rename the segments and adjust their timings in the app to suit your store.

Fitting rooms

When are your fitting rooms used, and how much?

See how many people go to the fitting rooms, what share of visitors that is and when it peaks. Compare fitting room use with yesterday and last week, up to the same time of day.

  • Fitting room visitors and their share of all visitors
  • The busiest fitting room hour
  • Change versus the same time yesterday and last week
  • Charts for the last 14 days, 10 weeks and 12 months

Fitting room measurement needs a camera that covers the way into the fitting rooms.

Dwell time

How long do visitors stay in your store?

See average dwell time hour by hour. Watch how it changes when the store is busy, and review your layout and staffing with that in mind.

Heat map

Which parts of your store get the most use?

The heat map in the management console uses color to show where visitors spend the most time within the area a chosen camera covers. Spot busy and quiet zones, and plan displays and layout around them.

In practice

Decisions that change once you see behavior

Window display

Did the new window work?

After a display change, check the share of quick exits and compare it with the same day last week.

Fitting rooms

No waiting outside the fitting rooms

Send one more team member to the fitting rooms during their busiest hour.

Sales floor

Turn browsers into buyers

When the share of browsers who leave without buying goes up, review when your floor team is free to help customers.

FAQ

About shopper behavior

How are the segments defined?

Segments are based on how visitors move through the store: those who leave quickly, go to the fitting rooms, reach the checkout or leave without reaching it are counted separately. A visit can fall into more than one segment; someone who tries something on and then buys appears in both. You can rename the segments and adjust their timings in the store settings.

Is fitting room measurement available in every store?

It works in stores that have a camera covering the way into the fitting rooms. In the discovery call, we'll check together whether it suits your store.

Is “Purchased” the same as sales data?

No. This segment shows visitors who reach the checkout, based on what the camera sees, and is independent of your sales system. Read alongside your sales reports, it completes the picture of how visits end.
