How it works
From your existing cameras to clear numbers, in four steps
Razbin builds on the camera setup you already have. A Razbin device installed in your store processes the video from your cameras on site, turning it into metrics and reports that reach your phone every minute.

From the first call to the first report

Discovery call
We talk through your store layout, what your cameras can see and what you want to measure. Together we identify the cameras that cover the areas to measure, such as the entrance, checkout and fitting rooms. If an area isn't covered, we recommend where a camera should go.

Installation
The Razbin device is placed in your store and connected to your cameras. Areas such as the entrance, the checkout, the space behind the counter and the way into the fitting rooms are set up around your layout. Your existing recording setup carries on as before.

Settings
Your opening hours, grace periods for late opening and early closing, notification thresholds and visitor segments are set up to match your store. You can change any of these yourself later in the app.

Reports and team
Reports start updating every minute. As the account owner, you add your teammates to the app and give each one Manager or Viewer access.
Requirements
What do you need?
- IP cameras and a recorder (NVR) covering the areas you want to measure
- An internet connection in the store
- A power socket and a connection to your camera network for the Razbin device
- A smartphone to follow your reports

Our team handles the installation
The Razbin team places the device, connects it to your cameras and sets up the measurement areas. We only ask for someone who knows the store to walk us through it.
Metrics
Which camera measures what?
Entrance
The entrance camera counts the people walking in and detects when the shutter opens and closes.
Sales floor
Cameras covering the sales floor measure occupancy and show where the store is busiest.
Checkout
The checkout camera measures queue length, checkout visitors and how long customers wait at an unattended till.
Fitting rooms
A camera covering the way into the fitting rooms counts fitting room visitors.
AI
All of these metrics are produced with AI, on the Razbin device in your store.
Measurements focus on customers. Staff areas such as the space behind the counter and the stockroom are kept out of customer metrics.
Every day
After installation, all you have to do is look
Razbin measures automatically, every day. Nobody has to enter data or prepare a report, and today's summary is ready whenever you open the app or the management console.
If the connection drops, the device keeps measuring, and reports catch up automatically once it's back.

Which cameras does it work with?
Razbin works with the IP cameras and recorder (NVR) in your store. We'll review your camera setup together in the discovery call.
Does installation disrupt the store?
Installation is planned around your store's daily routine, and your cameras keep recording exactly as before.
How does installation work if I have several stores?
A Razbin device is installed in each store and connected to that store's cameras. Reports from all your stores come together in the same app, where you can follow one store, a few or all of them at once.
Can I change settings after installation?
Yes. You can change opening hours, grace periods, notification thresholds and visitor segments in the store settings in the app, and changes take effect within a few minutes.
