From the door to the fitting room to the checkout

In fashion retail, a sale often starts in the fitting room. Razbin shows how many people walk in, how many head to the fitting rooms and how many reach the checkout, as well as when the checkout backs up on a busy weekend.

What fashion retailers ask

Three everyday questions, three clear answers

Entrance

Do visitors stay once they walk in?

The share of quick exits is a clue to the first impression your entrance and window display make.

Fitting rooms

When do the fitting rooms fill up?

Know the busiest fitting room hour and send support there at the right time.

Checkout

Can the checkout keep up on busy days?

See what time the queue builds on weekends and during promotions.

With Razbin

What you measure in your fashion store

Fitting room usage

Fitting room visitors, their share of all visitors and the busiest hour.

Visitor segments

Quick exits, browsers, fitting room visitors and purchasers.

Visitors and busiest hour

Visitors hour by hour, compared with yesterday and last week up to the same time.

Checkout queue

The current queue, the longest queue of the day and the hourly breakdown.

Dwell time

How long visitors stay in the store on average.

Opening and closing

What time the shutter goes up and comes down, which is especially important for stores in malls.

An example day

A Saturday, in numbers

The entrance, fitting rooms and checkout each get busy at different times of day. On this example Saturday, every decision your team makes starts with the numbers.

  1. Morning

The app shows what time the shutter went up, and a late opening lands in the notification center.

  2. Afternoon

Visitor numbers are ahead of last Saturday and the fitting rooms are heading into their busiest hour, so one more team member moves over to help.

  3. Early evening

A busy checkout notification comes in, a second checkout opens and the queue clears before it builds up.

  4. After closing

Visitor segments, fitting room usage and the longest queue all feed into next week's plan.

Frequently asked questions

For fashion stores

What's needed to measure fitting room usage?

A camera that covers the fitting room entrance. If your store doesn't have one, we'll recommend a suitable position in the discovery call.

My shoe store has no fitting rooms. Is Razbin still a fit?

Yes. Visitor counts, visitor segments, dwell time and checkout queues are all measured independently of fitting rooms.

Can I compare promotional periods?

Yes. You can compare each day with yesterday and with the same day last week, up to the same time of day. The week and month views also show each period against the one before.
