Open checkouts at the right time
Know the hours when the queue builds, and open a second checkout before the rush begins.
Checkout and queue management
Using the camera that covers your checkout, Razbin counts the people in the queue. It shows how many are waiting right now, the longest queue of the day and how long customers wait while no one is at the till. When the checkout gets busy, a notification lands in your app.
What you gain
Know the hours when the queue builds, and open a second checkout before the rush begins.
See how long customers wait while no one is at the till, and plan your staffing accordingly.
A busy checkout or a long wait shows up in your notification center, at thresholds you set.
Queue
On the app’s Checkout screen, you see the queue right now, how it moved through the day and how it trends over time.
With Manager access, you see the moment of the longest queue as a snapshot and a 15‑second clip, so you understand why it formed, not just how long it got.
Unattended checkout wait
When a customer is waiting at the checkout and no one is behind the till, that time is measured separately. Gaps at the till become a clear service indicator.
Total time customers spent waiting at an unattended till during the day.
The longest wait of the day: when it started and how long it lasted.
With Manager access, you see the moment of the longest wait as a snapshot and a clip.
Checkout visitors
Razbin shows how many customers come to the checkout and what share of your visitors that is. It compares that share with yesterday and last week, up to the same time of day, and highlights your busiest checkout hour.
Notifications
When the queue reaches the number of people you set, a “Checkout busy” notification lands in your app’s notification center. When a customer waits longer than the time you set, you get a “Long checkout wait” notification.
You switch each notification type on or off and change its threshold from your phone. Settings apply per store, for all of that store’s users.
FAQ
The camera that covers your checkout counts the people waiting in front of the counter. During installation, the areas in front of and behind the counter are set up around your layout, and the area behind the counter is kept out of the queue count.
Notifications are collected in the notification center of the Razbin mobile app. You choose which ones you want to see, and their thresholds, in the notification settings.
No. Razbin measures the queue and checkout visitors with the camera that covers your checkout, so your payment system keeps working exactly as it does today.
